Rodenbach Alexander

Flanders Red Ale with cherries.

This beer is brewed in honor of Alexander I, the Russian Tsar who visited the Rodenbach brewery in 1815. During his visit, a special blend of beer aged in oak barrels with fresh cherries was prepared. This beer is named in his honor. Its aroma is complex, with notes of ripe cherries, wood, balsamic vinegar, and a touch of acidity. This beer combines the characteristic acidity of Flanders Red Ale with the sweetness and intensity of cherries.
