Struise Pannepeut

Sister of the Pannepot, but named "old monk beer" in honor of Trappist beers. Originally made in honor of the Danish market. As a good quad, it has sweet caramel malt notes, with a touch of toasted malt to balance the sweetness. Notes of fruits such as figs, plums, and dates come together. It has a medium to full body, with a soft carbonation and a smooth, slightly acidic and complex finish that invites contemplation.
