On the palate, it is full and balanced, with a malty flavor rounded by an elegant and dry bitterness. Its high alcohol content provides warmth without being aggressive, making this beer an intense and harmonious experience. The finish is dry and slightly spicy, inviting further sips. Brewed at Achel Abbey, located on the Belgian border with the Netherlands, this monastery boasts a brewing history dating back to the 19th century, when Trappist monks began producing beer following monastic tradition.
