Boon Kriek Mariage Parfait

Spontaneously fermented beer with cherries.

Kriek Mariage Parfait is an aged Kriek beer made from Lambic matured for 18 months, to which 400 grams of fresh wild cherries are added per liter. These cherries are left to macerate and ferment together with the Lambic. Then, the Kriek Lambic matures in oak barrels for about 6 to 8 months.

After bottling, Kriek Mariage Parfait undergoes a secondary fermentation process in the bottle, which makes it an authentic Oude Kriek. If you can, let it rest in a cool, dark cellar for about 2 more years to make it even smoother and fruitier.
