Rodenbach Grand Cru

Rodenbach Grand Cru has spent much more time in the oak casks ("foeders") of the iconic "beer cathedral" in Roeselare, resulting in a more intense version of the Flanders Red-Brown Beer style.

This beer consists of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 beer matured for two years in oak, which gives it great complexity with marked notes of wood and esters. Its profile is vinous, with a long and sophisticated aftertaste, comparable to a Grand Cru from the world of wine.

The renowned beer critic Michael Jackson, a famous beer writer, aptly called it a "World Classic" and "the Burgundy of Belgium."
